Abstract:

هیپوترمی به کاهش غیرطبیعی درجه حرارت بدن تا ۳۵ درجه یا پائین تر از آن اطلاق می شود. کاهش طولانی درجه حرارت در بیمارانی که از نظر جسمی سالم نیستند و تغذیه مناسبی ندارند، شدیدتر است. اگر چه هیپوترمی در ارتباط با آب و هوای سرد بوجود می آید، ولی به شرایط جسمی، روانی و اجتماعی نیز مربوط می باشد.
