FLOW INJECTIOW DETERMINATION OF FLUORIDE BY MURTN-ALUMINUM REAGEM WITH SPECTROEUORIMIETRIC DETECTION

Authors: not saved
Abstract:

A flow injection system is reported for the determination of fluoride based on its effects on the fluorescence intensity of Al-morin complex at pH 3.0 in ethanol-warn mixture. The effect of important parameters such as excitation and emission wavelengths, pH, reagents concenkations, flow rate of the carrier stream, sample injection volume, time of measurepent and interferences are reported. Cation and anion exchange resins were used to remove interferences and to preconcenttate fluoride ions prior to measurement. Calibration curve was linear over the range of 5- 20000 ng ml of fluoride. The deteetion limit was 3 ng ml and the relative standard deviation for the determination of 100 ng ml of fluoride was ±38.7'he proposed method was used to determine ffuofide in natural water samples. R&overy was 97.5- 105% for the fluoride added to the water samples. The relative standard deviation for the andysis of these samples was less than 5%.

extremal region detection guided by maxima of gradient magnitude

a problem of computer vision applications is to detect regions of interest under dif- ferent imaging conditions. the state-of-the-art maximally stable extremal regions (mser) detects affine covariant regions by applying all possible thresholds on the input image, and through three main steps including: 1) making a component tree of extremal regions’ evolution (enumeration), 2) obtaining region ...

Determination of aluminum in beverages by automated non-segmented continuous flow analysis with fluorescent detection of the lumogallion complex.

A method for the automated determination of aluminum in a variety of beverages is described. The method utilizes lumogallion as a complexing agent in a buffer solution. The system is very similar to flow-injection analysis (FIA), however, the tubing id is larger than that typically used in FIA. Therefore, the system is best described as non-segmented continuous flow analysis using fluorescence ...

Determination of serum and urinary aluminum by HPLC with fluorometric detection of Al-lumogallion complex.

We describe a simple and sensitive HPLC method for quantifying aluminum (Al) in biological fluids by measuring the fluorescence of the Al-lumogallion complex (excitation wavelength 500 nm, emission wavelength 575 nm). Serum samples are deproteinized with 0.83 mol/L perchloric acid and centrifuged; the supernates are mixed with lumogallion reagent. Urine samples are pretreated with sodium hydrox...

Radiofluorination using aluminum-fluoride (Al18F)

Targeted agents are increasingly used for treating cancer and other diseases, but patients may need to be carefully selected to maximize the potential for therapeutic benefit. One way to select patients is to bind an imaging radionuclide to a targeting agent of interest, so that its uptake in specific sites of disease can be visualized by positron-emission tomography (PET) or single-photon emis...
