Existence of at least three weak solutions for a quasilinear elliptic system

Abstract:
In this paper, applying two theorems of Ricceri and Bonanno, we will establish the existence of three weak solutions for a quasilinear elliptic system. Indeed, we will assign a differentiable nonlinear operator to a differential equation system such that the critical points of this operator are weak solutions of the system. Existence of three solutions for a class of quasilinear elliptic systems involving the $p(x)$-Laplace operator
The aim of this paper is to obtain three weak solutions for the Dirichlet quasilinear elliptic systems on a bonded domain. Our technical approach is based on the general three critical points theorem obtained by Ricceri.

In this paper, existence results of positive classical solutions for a class of second-order differential equations with the nonlinearity dependent on the derivative are established. The approach is based on variational methods.

Injection molding is a manufacturing process for producing parts from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials. When the material is in contact with the mold wall surface, one has three choices: i no slip which implies that thematerial sticks to the surface ii partial slip, and iii complete slip 1–5 . Navier 6 in 1827 first proposed a partial slip condition for rough surfaces, rel...
full textExistence of nontrivial weak solutions for a quasilinear Choquard equation
We are concerned with the following quasilinear Choquard equation: [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] is the p-Laplacian operator, the potential function [Formula: see text] is continuous and [Formula: see text]. Here, [Formula: see text] is the Riesz potential of order [Formula: see text]. We study the existence of weak solutions for the problem above via the mo...

This paper shows the existence of nontrivial weak solutions for the quasilinear elliptic equation − ` ∆pu +∆p(u ) ́ + V (x)|u|p−2u = h(u) in RN . Here V is a positive continuous potential bounded away from zero and h(u) is a nonlinear term of subcritical type. Using minimax methods, we show the existence of a nontrivial solution in C loc (R N ) and then show that it decays to zero at infinity wh...
