Effectiveness of work- family conflict management skills on work life quality among Female employees in Hospital

Background and Objectives: Today, work-family issues have gained special importance for employees, families, and organizations. Work–family conflict is an inter-role conflict in which work and family demands are mutually incompatible and creates stress and numerous problems. So, the aim of this present study was to examine the effectiveness of work- family conflict management training on work- life quality. Materials and Methods: In a pretest- posttest quasi- experimental research design with control group, a total of 30 female employees in hospital of Nourabad selected via voluntary sampling method and accidently divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was undergone six-session format of work- family conflict management program. Data was collected using Quality of work- life questionnaire (QWLQ) and were analyzed using covariance analysis. Results: The results of covariance analysis showed that the training of work-family conflict management skills is effective on enhancing the work-life quality of employees, in that way by after adjusting pre-test scores, there was a significant difference between the post-test scores of the two experimental and control groups (P <0.01). Conclusion: So, according to the finding of this study can be concluded that the use of work-family conflict management skills helps female hospital staff to better cope with the inevitable problems and stresses of work-family conflict and as a result, the quality of their working life will increase.
