Designing a strategic model of talent management system in the petrochemical industry

Abstract:

This study aims to design a strategic model of talent management system in the petrochemical industry and by using Grounded Theory. The present study is part of exploratory research projects. the researcher has collected data with a qualitative approach with a careful review of literature and history of talent management, researches, articles and books of internal and external literature as well as with the method of purposeful and snowball sampling, interviews with 18 of university professors and experts in the petrochemical industry. Then, the researcher has applied qualitative data analysis using the Grounded Theory and the three - step coding (open, axial and selective). Finally, indicators, components and basic dimensions affecting the strategic model of talent management system in the petrochemical industry have been extracted.
