Authors

Abstract:

This study aimed to design a strategic management model for primary prevention of addiction with a cultural approach. From this point of view, using a consecutive exploratory (qualitative-quantitative) design, it has attempted to evaluate the factors and finally formulate a strategic management model of primary prevention of addiction with a cultural approach. Thus, in the Delphi phase with the formation of a panel of 46 experts from different areas of addiction prevention with a cultural approach selected by purposive and theoretical sampling method, the data were collected through semi-standard and standard questionnaire tools. In this phase, two methods of communication evaluation and focal group formation were used to validate the model and two methods of reliability and generalizability were used for reliability. At the time of questioning (swot) through purposeful sampling, a focus group consisting of 8 experts from the field of primary prevention of addiction with a cultural approach was formed. Determining the balanced weights derived from the evaluation of indoor and outdoor factors, the strategic action of strategic management of primary prevention of addiction was determined by the cultural approach. In this phase, qualitative formal content validity was used to validate the instrument, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to validate internal consistency of the items. The results of the Delphi phase showed that in total 36 variables included four factors: (a) empowerment, (b) social services, (c) social participation, and (iv) post-four-round governance as influencing factors in strategic management of prevention of addiction through cultural approach. The experts were identified and finalized by consensus. In addition, the results of the questioning phase showed that the strategic management strategy of prevention of addiction with cultural approach is a competitive strategy (diversification). Therefore, according to the competitive strategy (diversification), eight strategies and final models were formulated.
