Art and Technique as two Different Territory for Dasein’s Being
Authors
Abstract:
In Being and Time Heidegger believes that Dasein is the only being who has existence, he also argues Dasein has two existential modes: authenticity and in-authenticity. inauthenticity is usual Dasein’s existence, A way of Being in which Dasein has strayed away of himself and has fallen into the chaos of others. In this way of Being he deals to beings as others do, just in terms of efficiency and benefits. Although Heidegger considers in-authenticity as often way of Dasein’s Being but another way is possible. He calls another way of Dasein’s Being, authenticity. In this type Dasiesn transcendences from usual Being. In his later thought, Heidegger attributes authenticity and inauthenticity to different revealing of Being. In this view, Art and Technicque are two important status of revealing. So perhaps Art and Technic could be regarded as two determinative domains of Dasein’s Being.

The art of being a failure as a therapist.
Too much emphasis has been placed upon how to be successful as a therapist and too little has been written about how to fail. Twelve steps for failing in psychotherapy are described within the proper ideological framework, and it is argued that any therapist can achieve this end with proper training. What has been lacking in the field of therapy is a theory of failure. Many clinicians have mere...

Based on a combination of clinical and pedagogical experience in occupational therapy, which interlinks artistic practices and therapeutic processes, we carried out a historical study designed to investigate how the fields of mental health and art became interrelated in Brazil between the mid 19th and 20th centuries. The methods used for this research, which is underpinned by the thinking of Fo...
full textHerder and Reappraising Sculpture as Tactile Art
The main objective of this essay is to re-examine the nature of sculpture and its importance among arts via retrieving and studying the relatively neglected importance of touch in the experience of this art. This objective is pursued according to eighteenth-century German philosopher, Johann Gottfried Herder, by focusing on his Sculpture: Some Observations on Shape and Form from Pygmalion’s Cre...
full textdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
A digital technique for art authentication.
We describe a computational technique for authenticating works of art, specifically paintings and drawings, from high-resolution digital scans of the original works. This approach builds a statistical model of an artist from the scans of a set of authenticated works against which new works then are compared. The statistical model consists of first- and higher-order wavelet statistics. We show p...
full textA Two Level Approximation Technique for Structural Optimization
This work presents a method for optimum design of structures, where the design variables can he considered as Continuous or discrete. The variables are chosen as sizing variables as well as coordinates of joints. The main idea is to reduce the number of structural analyses and the overal cost of optimization. In each design cycle, first the structural response quantities such as forces, displac...
