Abstract:

In this paper, an optimal adaptive sliding mode controller is proposed for anti-synchronization of two identical hyperchaotic systems. We use hyperchaotic complex T-system for master and slave systems with unknown parameters in the slave system. To construct the optimal adaptive sliding mode controller, first a simple sliding surface is designed. Then, the optimal adaptive sliding mode controller is derived to guarantee the occurrence of the sliding motion.

Chaotic Synchronization and Secure Communication via Sliding-Mode Observer

Information signal embedded in a chaotic transmitter can be recovered by a receiver if it is a replica of the transmitter. In this paper, a new aspect of chaotic communication is introduced. A sliding-mode observer replaces the conventional chaotic system at the receiver side, which does not need information from the transmitter. So the uncertainties in the transmitter and the transmission line...

Anti-synchronization and synchronization of T-system

In this paper, we discuss the synchronization and anti-synchronization of two identical chaotic T-systems. The adaptive and nonlinear control schemes are used for the synchronization and anti-synchronization. The stability of these schemes is derived by Lyapunov Stability Theorem. Firstly, the synchronization and anti-synchronization are applied to systems with known parameters, then to systems...

Application of a Chaotic Synchronization System to Secure Communication

Abstract. This work describes a novel scheme that applies a Sprott master/slave chaotic synchronization system to secure transmission. A sliding plane is chosen to design a sliding mode controller to ensure robustness. In the presence of an external disturbance and system uncertainty, the slave chaotic circuit system is then synchronized with the master. The Lyapunov theorem verifies that the p...

Robust synchronization of unified chaotic systems via sliding mode control

This paper investigates the chaos synchronization problem for a class of uncertain master–slave unified chaotic systems. Based on the sliding mode control technique, a robust control scheme is established which guarantees the occurrence of a sliding motion of error states even when the parameter uncertainty and external perturbation are present. Furthermore, a novel proportional–integral (PI) s...

Sliding-Mode Adaptive Observer Approach to Chaotic Synchronization

Extensions of sliding-mode adaptive observer are presented for state reconstruction of nonlinear systems with uncertainty having unknown bounds. The observer uses nonlinear gains that are smoothened versions of classical sliding-mode gains and they are continuously updated to guarantee a globally stable observation error. This observer is applied to Chua’s circuit in a chaotic synchronization s...

Modified Sliding-Mode Control Method for Synchronization a Class of Chaotic Fractional-Order Systems with Application in Encryption

In this study, we propose a secure communication scheme based on the synchronization of two identical fractional-order chaotic systems. The fractional-order derivative is in Caputo sense, and for synchronization, we use a robust sliding-mode control scheme. The designed sliding surface is taken simply due to using special technic for fractional-order systems. Also, unlike most manuscripts, the ...
