Analyzing System Reliability Using Fuzzy Weibull Lifetime Distribution
author
Abstract:
Investigation of reliability characteristics under fuzzy environments is proposed in this paper. Fuzzy Weibull distribution and lifetimes of components are using it described. Formulas of a fuzzy reliability function, fuzzy hazard function and their α-cut set are presented. Furthermore, the fuzzy functions of series systems and parallel systems are discussed, respectively. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate how to calculate the fuzzy reliability characteristics and their α-cut set.

full textFuzzy Reliability Analysis of Compound System Based on Weibull Distribution
Data in the real world can not be recorded or collected precisely due to human errors, machine errors, or some other unexpected situations. And reliability analysis is an important research topic in engineering. The data, however, can not be recorded precisely sometimes as described above. Then some researchers pay attention to the fuzzy reliability. In this paper, we are going to analyze the f...
full textAn Evaluation of the Systems Reliability Using Fuzzy Lifetime Distribution
In this paper we consider the problem of the evaluation of system reliability, in which the lifetimes of components are described using a fuzzy exponential distribution. Formula of a fuzzy reliability function and its α-cut set are presented. The fuzzy reliability of structures is defined on the basis of fuzzy number. Furthermore, the fuzzy reliability functions of k -out-ofm system, series sys...
full textAvailability and Reliability Analysis for System with Bivariate Weibull Lifetime Distribution
In this paper, analysis of a system consists of two dependent components with load sharing is introduced. The life and repair times of the units are assumed to follow bivariate Weibull distribution. Markov models are used to construct the mathematical model of the system. Analysis of the availability function, reliability function, steady state availability, and mean time to system failure are ...
full textAnalyzing Fuzzy System Reliability Using Vague Set Theory
Reliability modeling is the most important discipline of reliable engineering. A new method for analyzing fuzzy system reliability using vague set theory is demonstrated, where the reliabilities of the components of a system are represented by vague sets defined in the universe of discourse [0, 1]. The proposed method can model and analyze the fuzzy system reliability in a more flexible and mor...
