Abstract:

Introduction: Multiple coronary artery aneurysm is a rare anomaly which could be congenital or acquired. Its complications including sudden cardiac death, clot and distal emboli, rupture and bleeding or fistula. Decision about its management depends on aneurysm conditions and the Patient's clinical situation Case Report: A 55 years old patient with unstable angina and multiple coronary artery aneurysms and three vessels disease on angiography, underwent CABG. The patient was asymptomatic and showed normal activity after about two years of follow up. Conclusion: Here, multiple coronary artery aneurysms and its management is discussed as a rare disease.

A case of multiple giant right coronary artery aneurysms.

Coronary artery aneurysm is a rare congenital or acquired anomaly. The commonest location of coronary artery aneurysms is the right coronary artery and they are found slightly more often in males. We report an unusual case of multiple and extremely large aneurysms, therefore potentially at risk of rupture or thrombosis.

Multiple Giant Coronary Artery Aneurysms

A 74-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with chest pain and dyspnea associated with ST elevation in leads II, III and aVF. An echocardiogram showed an enlarged mass lesion measuring nearly 80 mm. Coronary angiography showed two giant coronary artery aneurysms (CAAs) in the right coronary artery (RCA). CAAs were also seen in the left main trunk and left anterior descending artery. Compute...

Interesting Images: Multiple Coronary Artery Aneurysms

We present the case of a 65-year-old male who presented with stable angina and dyspnea on exertion. His initial workup yielded a positive treadmill stress test for reversible apical ischemia, and transthoracic echocardiogram demonstrated impaired systolic function. Cardiac catheterization was then performed, revealing severe atherosclerotic disease including multiple coronary artery aneurysms. ...

CASE STUDY Non-atherosclerotic coronary artery aneurysms: two case reports

Non-atherosclerotic isolated coronary artery aneurysm is not common. Two cases of non-atherosclerotic isolated coronary artery aneurysm, with similar presentations but diVerent management strategies were presented. The patients were well four and six years later, respectively. The definition, incidence, causes, presentation, complications, investigations, management, and prognosis of coronary a...

Successful revascularization of coronary artery occluded by massive intracoronary thrombi with alteplase and percutaneous coronary intervention.

A 67-year-old man was admitted to our institution with sudden and persistent chest pain for 3 days. Coronary angiography showed massive thrombotic occlusion of the right coronary artery. The patient received intracoronary thrombolysis with alteplase (recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator, rt-PA). On repeated angiography, there was marked resolution of intracoronary thrombus. After percu...
