نقد کتاب Phenomenology and Mysticism

Abstract:

این جستار، به نقد و بررسی کتاب پدیدارشناسی و عرفان اثر آنتونی. جی. استاین­باک (Steinbock.Anthony j) می­پردازد. نویسنده در این کتاب سعی نموده تا بر اساس روش پدیدارشناسانه و با کمک گرفتن از مفاهیمی همچون: «بداهت»، «تأویل پدیدارشناسی» و «قصدیّت»، به تبیین تجارب دینی (religious experiences)، و تجارب عرفانی (mystical experiences)، بپردازد. دغدغه­ی اصلی استاین­باک، بررسی تعامل و کنُش متقابل بین پدیدارشناسی و الهیات است تا بر این اساس، بین طیف گسترده­ای از باورهای دینی و مسائل فلسفی، همچون: «بداهت» (Evidence)، «فردیّت» (selfhood)، و «غیریّت» (otherness)، پیوند و ارتباط برقرار نماید. این در حالی است که تذبذب دیدگاه فکری استاین­باک، عدم قدرت تحلیل کافی، تناقض­گویی و... موضع­گیری وی را در این کتاب سست نموده است. علاوه بر این، کتاب، دارای اشکالات محتوایی و نگارشی بوده که این عدم انسجام، به عنوان نقطه ضعف جدّی تلقّی می­گردد
