دو گونه زنبور پارازیتویید به نام­ های Aphelinus chaonia Walker و (Aphelinus varipes (Förster از خانواده‌ی  Aphelinidae روی شته­ های ذرت در دشت مغان جمع‌آوری شد. از این میان گونه A. chaonia برای نخستین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شود. ضمن مرور گونه های موجود در ایران، کلید شناسایی برای شش گونه از این جنس که تاکنون گزارش شده است، تهیه شد.
