abstract

here the writer wants to analyze the inner reasons of iraq in attacking iran considering structural approach. the writer has chosen this approach because of the tools it provides for him to inspect the atmosphere in which iraqi government and the ruling baath party decided to attack iran. this essay has also studied the mutual relationships between iraqi government and baath party, normative structures of iraqi government, and its baathist identity.

Regression modeling of Iraq Iran war using Lancaster/osipov war models

Iran and Iraq war data were obtained from internet and curve-fitted with Lanchester/Osipov war model. It was found that the data obeys the square law and that the war was a mixed one of 10.8% guerilla and 89.2% conventional as depicted by their parameters in the model.
