ranking decision making units, using non-radial model, applying bootstrap
Authors
abstract
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a mathematical programming method in operations research that can be used to distinguish between efficient and inefficient decision making units (dmus). however, the conventional dea models do not have the ability to rank the efficient dmus. this article suggests bootstrapping method for ranking measures of technical efficiency as calculated via non-radial models of dea and a numerical example is used to illustrate the method.

Ranking Decision Making Units, using Non-radial Model, applying Bootstrap
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a mathematical programming method in Operations Research that can be used to distinguish between efficient and inefficient decision making units (DMUs). However, the conventional DEA models do not have the ability to rank the efficient DMUs. This article suggests bootstrapping method for ranking measures of technical efficiency as calculated via non-radial mod...
full textranking of decision making units by using of super efficiency non-radial model
data envelopment analysis (dea) is one of the scientific method that computes the efficiency by using a powerful mathematics basic. data envelopment analysis is a non-parametric technique to evaluate the efficiency of a set of decision making units (dmu) with multi inputs and outputs . since dea’s models classifies decision making units into two categories of efficient and inefficient, so most ...
full textRanking Decision-Making Units Using Double-Frontier Analysis Approach
Data envelopment analysis is a nonparametric method for measuring the performance of a set of decision-making units (DMUs) that consume multiple inputs to produce multiple outputs. Using this approach, the performance of DMUs is measured from both optimistic and pessimistic views. However, their results are very misleading and even contradictory in many cases. Indisputably, different performanc...
full textRanking Decision Making Units in Fuzzy-DEA Using Entropy
Abstract Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) can be regarded as a useful management tool to the assessment evaluation of decision making units (DMUs) using multiple inputs to produce multiple outputs. In some cases, to evaluate the efficiency having imprecise inputs and outputs such as fuzzy or interval data the efficiency of DMUs won’t be exact as well. Most researches have been conducted were bas...
full textRanking Efficient Decision Making Units Using Cooperative Game Theory Based on SBM Input-Oriented Model and Nucleolus Value
In evaluating the efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models, may be more than one DMU has an efficiency score equal to one. Since ranking of efficient DMUs is essential for decision makers, therefore, methods and models for this purpose are presented. One of ranking methods of efficient DMUs is cooperative game theory. In this study, Lee and Lozano mod...
full textRanking of Efficient and Non-Efficient Decision Making Units with Undesirable Data Based on Combined Models of DEA and TOPSIS
Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a method for determining the performance of units under evaluation of DMUs. Each decision-making unit using multiple inputs produces multiple outputs whose nature of outputs may be desirable or undesirable. Units whose performance score equals one are efficient. The concept of ranking decision makers because of the useful information they provide to decision m...
