The educational offer in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine at the Engineering Faculty of the Politecnico di Milano

Educational programs in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine offered at the Politecnico di Milano are described. At present they refers to the (5-years) Laurea Degree, the (3-years) Diploma Universitario Degree, the post-Laurea (3-years) Doctoral Degree, the (1-year) postLaurea Master’s Degree and a Continuing Education program. The general aim of the educational efforts is that to enable the students to become information and communication technology experts, in whom the physician believes. The success in student attendance and in aftergraduation company acceptance is remarkable. Nevertheless in Italy we are now starting with a deep reform of all educational engineering programs.
