we are more familiar, namely, the Fever with Jaundice cases. This is the name given locally to a well defined disease, which up to the present has been included under the heading of Malarial Fever, though evidence appears to be accumulating which will possibly necessitate its being returned under a separate heading before long: the only excuse for including it under malarial fever being that many hold the opinion that it is malarial in origin, and we cannot yet say for certain that it is not. The following brief account of it may be given :? Diagnosis.?This is easy. Fever (not necessarily very high) for two or three days?severe congestion of the conjuncture?-jaundice, appearing on the 3rd or 4th day of the illness, often intense, and in the worst cases petechial haemorrhages in the skin, and bleeding from the gums; delirium ; and a very rapid and bad pulse.
