چکیده

A person’s chances of being affected may be influenced by many different factors, known and unknown, which may interact together in complex ways. None of these ‘risk factors’ may be enough in itself to cause the disease. For example, not everyone who smokes develops heart disease and not everyone with heart disease has been a smoker. However, smoking is still a strong risk factor for heart disease.
