What evolutionary game theory tells us about multiagent learning

چکیده
This paper discusses If multi-agent learning is the answer, what is the question? [Y. Shoham, R. Powers, T. Grenager, If multiagent learning is the answer, what is the question? Artificial Intelligence 171 (7) (2007) 365–377, this issue] from the perspective of evolutionary game theory. We briefly discuss the concepts of evolutionary game theory, and examine the main conclusions from [Y. Shoham, R. Powers, T. Grenager, If multi-agent learning is the answer, what is the question? Artificial Intelligence 171 (7) (2007) 365–377, this issue] with respect to some of our previous work. Overall we find much to agree with, concluding, however, that the central concerns of multiagent learning are rather narrow compared with the broad variety of work identified in [Y. Shoham, R. Powers, T. Grenager, If multi-agent learning is the answer, what is the question? Artificial Inteligence 171 (7) (2007) 365–377, this issue]. © 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Private cryptocurrency versus central bank digital money: Evolutionary game theory modeling of the distribution of Seigniorage Shares
When the monopoly of money creation is removed and private money can be exchanged between people, the issue of Seigniorage share will arise, which is currently conceivable with the advent of cryptocurrencies. The question of the present study is that if we are in a situation where private cryptocurrencies along with money are common in the society with the state publisher, what share of the Sei...
متن کاملLearning in Multiagent Systems: An Introduction from a Game-Theoretic Perspective
We introduce the topic of learning in multiagent systems. We first provide a quick introduction to the field of game theory, focusing on the equilibrium concepts of iterated dominance, and Nash equilibrium. We show some of the most relevant findings in the theory of learning in games, including theorems on fictitious play, replicator dynamics, and evolutionary stable strategies. The CLRI theory...
متن کاملA JOINT DUTY CYCLE SCHEDULING AND ENERGY AWARE ROUTING APPROACH BASED ON EVOLUTIONARY GAME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS
Network throughput and energy conservation are two conflicting important performance metrics for wireless sensor networks. Since these two objectives are in conflict with each other, it is difficult to achieve them simultaneously. In this paper, a joint duty cycle scheduling and energy aware routing approach is proposed based on evolutionary game theory which is called DREG. Making a trade-off ...
متن کاملInvestigation of Game Between Cells in Occurrence of Genetic Mutations Using Evolutionary Game Theory
In this paper, two games that play a role in creating a cancer tumor and suppression are studied using evolutionary game theory and its different modes are analyzed. The first game is the competition between a cancer cell and a healthy cell to receive food through the blood. In the second game, the interaction between the two oncogenes Ras and Myc is examined for cellular deformation
متن کاملAn Analysis of Stochastic Game Theory for Multiagent Reinforcement Learning
Learning behaviors in a multiagent environment is crucial for developing and adapting multiagent systems. Reinforcement learning techniques have addressed this problem for a single agent acting in a stationary environment, which is modeled as a Markov decision process (MDP). But, multiagent environments are inherently non-stationary since the other agents are free to change their behavior as th...
