Chemotherapy of East Coast fever. Treatment of infections induced by isolates of Theileria parva with halofuginone.

Cattle were infected with three isolates of Theileria parva and treated with halofuginone lactate during acute clinical disease. The health, weight gain and carrier state of the cattle were monitored for 15 months.
