An XML Definition Language to Support Use Case-Based Requirements Engineering
نویسنده
چکیده
The focus of this paper is to introduce a theory based on a wide-spreading model of Use Cases (UCs). The pervasive benefits of UCs in the computer systems and software’s developments have motivated the UCs formalization needing. Also, the definition of UCs through Use Case Description Markup Language (UCDML) is enabled the XML technology explotation in order to suggest the powerful ways for the creation, usage, distribution, and maintenance of UCs. Consequently, we present the UCDML formalization, an XML definition language, to support the UC-based requirements engineering.

Rule-based generation of requirements traceability relations
The support for traceability between requirement specifications has been recognised as an important task in the development life-cycle of software systems. In this paper, we present a rule-based approach to support the automatic generation of traceability relations between documents which specify requirement statements and use cases (expressed in structured forms of natural language), and analy...
متن کاملXML-based requirements engineering for an electronic clearinghouse
We present methods and tools to support XML-based requirements engineering for an electronic clearinghouse that connects trading partners in the telecommunications area. The original semi-structured requirements, locally known as business rules, were written as message specifications in a non-standardized and error-prone format using MS Word. To remedy the resulting software failures and faults...

By using more complexity automobile products, the quantities of requirements to the development process are largely placed. The concept of this work aims to minimize the costing and development times, and to increase the quality of products. The efficient reuse of knowledge in the early development phases requires the support of a template based explicit, structured and consistent model. This m...
متن کاملInferring XML Schema Definitions from XML Data
infer XML Schema from provided XML data file, by reverse engineering (if you can't obtain the original XSD definition from the data provider). Some options. To create one, you need to have an XML schema file (.xsd) and an XML data file (.xml). but does support the child tags and attributes defined in that complex type. For an XML data file, Excel will try to infer the XML schema from the XML. X...
متن کاملTowards Conceptual Modeling for XML
Today, XML is primarily regarded as a syntax for exchanging structured data, and therefore the question of how to develop well-designed XML models has not been studied extensively. As applications are increasingly penetrated by XML technologies, and because query and programming languages provide native XML support, it would be beneficial to use these features to work with well-designed XML mod...
