چکیده

The use of the average-current-mode control in the recently introduced two-input buck postregulator is studied in this paper. Using this type of control, the attenuation of the input voltage ripple (100–120 Hz) increases in relation to the one obtained when a conventional voltage-mode control (with or without feedforward) is used and, therefore, lower bulk capacitors can be used to obtain a very low voltage ripple at the output, which is very important when a battery is connected at the output. This is very common in distributed power supply systems.

An Improved Control Method Based on Modified Delta-Sigma Modulator for Buck Converter

This paper proposes an improved control method based on modified Delta-Sigma Modulator (DSM) to enhance transient response and improve harmonic contents of buck DC-DC converter. The main advantages of the proposed method are improving the output voltage frequency spectrum, correction of the output voltage harmonic contents and sideband harmonics, reduction of switching noise peaks at the output...

Average Current Mode Control of Series-Switching Post-Regulators Used in Power Factor Correctors

The application of the average current mode control (ACMC) to a new type of very efficient post-regulators is studied in this paper. This post-regulator, called series-switching post-regulator (SSR), has recently been proposed to improve the dynamic response series-switching of power factor correctors (PFC). The post-regulator exhibits very high efficiency due to the fact that only a part of th...

تحلیل و طراحی روش کنترل پیش بین برای یکسو کننده دارای اصلاح ضریب توان با مبدل ارتقاء یافتهء شپارد- تیلور

In this paper CCM/CVM operation and modeling of the improved Sheppard-Taylor based power factor correction (PFC) rectifier is presented and a predictive control strategy is introduced for this rectifier. Compared with conventional boost or buck–boost PFC’s, this topology allows a better current tracking at the AC side, with a relatively reduced voltage at the DC side. Consequently, ...

Single Phase Power Factor Correction Circuit with Wide Output Voltage Range

Electrical Engineering (ABSTRACT) The conventional power factor correction circuit has a fixed output voltage. However, in some applications, a PFC circuit with a wide output voltage range is needed. A single phase power factor correction circuit with wide output voltage range is developed in this work. After a comparison of two main power stage candidates (Buck+Boost and Sepic) in terms of eff...
