چکیده

A 1.2-V fully integrated 0.35m inductively degenerated common source CMOS low-noise amplifier has been demonstrated at 2.4 GHz in this paper. A simple common source configuration can be operated at lower voltage and has lower output impedance when compared with a conventional high output impedance cascode LNA circuit topology. The input matching inductance, output matching inductance, and source degeneration inductance are integrated on a single chip. The fully integrated 2.4GHz CMOS LNA has 5.27-dB power gain, 17-dB input return loss, 15-dB output return loss, 4-dB noise figure, and 1-dBm IIP1dB and 8-dBm IIP3 at Vdd 1.2 V and Idd 10 mA, respectively. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Low-power current-reused RF front-end based on optimized transformers topology

This paper discusses the design, analysis and performance of a 2.4 GHz fully integrated low-power current-reused receiver front-end implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The front-end is composed of a single-to-differential low-noise amplifier (LNA), using high-Q differential transformers and inductors and a coupled switching mixer stage. The mixer transconductor and LNA share the same DC cur...

A Concurrent Dual-Band Low Noise Amplifier for GNSS Receivers

In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...

An Ultra-Low-Voltage and Ultra-Low-Power 2.4 GHz LNA Design

In this paper, ultra-low-voltage and ultra-lowpower circuit techniques are presented for CMOS RF front-ends. By employing a modified current-reused architecture, the low-noise amplifier (LNA) can operate at a very low supply voltage with microwatt power consumption while maintaining reasonable circuit performance at 2.4 GHz. Using a TSMC 0.18 um CMOS process, from the simulation results, the fu...

A Low Voltage Low Power 5.7 GHz Variable Gain LNA in 0.18 um CMOS Technology

This paper presents a 2.4 GHz 0.18 μm CMOS single-ended Variable Gain Low noise Amplifier (VGLNA). The circuit is suitable for low voltage, low power operation, uses a current-reuse topology to increase linear gain and save power consumption. The common-source gain stages are stacked for minimum power dissipation while maintaining high gain. The VGLNA exhibits noise figure less than 3 dB and ga...
