Three-stage Nested Miller Low-Voltage Amplifier

This report presents a low voltage, Nested Miller Compensation (NMC) topology. It consists of two non-inverting amplifiers for the first two stages and an inverting amplifier for the output stage. Two miller capacitors are used for stability of the circuit. This design is attractive in a way that it is a straight forward circuit without any complexity while achieving a high gain, high unity gain frequency with a good phase margin which results in a stable circuit in wide range of temperature variations. The circuit is simulated using 0.25um CMOS process, with a 1.5V power supply and 2pf load, 100MHz bandwidth, 100db gain and phase margin of 70 degree.
