چکیده
We investigate the sensitivity of pionic bounce{oo and squeeze{out on the density and momentum dependence of the real part of the nucleon optical potential. For the in{plane pion bounce{oo we nd a strong sensitivity on both the density and momentum dependence whereas the out{of{plane pion squeeze{out shows a strong sensitivity only towards the momentum dependence but little sensitivity towards the density dependence. We observe strong diierences between calculations including the nucleon optical potential and CASCADE calculations. The question of validity of the CASCADE approach in relativistic heavy ion collisions can be resolved experimentally supported by GSI, BMFT and DFG

We reexamine in the relativistic transport model the dependence of kaon yield on the nuclear equation of state in heavy ion collisions at energies that are below the threshold for kaon production from the nucleon-nucleon interaction in free space. For Au+Au collisions at 1 GeV/nucleon, we find that the kaon yield measured by the Kaos collaboration at GSI can be accounted for if a soft nuclear e...
متن کاملModeling Magnetic Field in Heavy ion Collisions Using Two Different Nuclear Charge Density Distributions
By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...
متن کاملInterpreting Near-side Correlations and the RHIC Beam Energy Scan
Recent data from heavy ion collisions at RHIC show strong near-side correlations extending over several units of rapidity. This ridge-like correlation exhibits an abrupt onset with collision centrality. In this talk, I argue that the centrality and beam-energy dependence of these near-angle correlations could provide access to information about the Quark Gluon Plasma phase boundary and the Equa...
متن کاملBose-einstein Correlations and the Equation of State of Nuclear Matter in Relativistic Heavy-ion Collisions
Experimental spectra of the CERN/SPS experiments NA44 and NA49 are fitted while using four different equations of state of nuclear matter within a relativistic hydrodynamic framework. For the freeze-out temperatures, Tf = 139 MeV and Tf = 116 MeV, respectively, the corresponding freeze-out hypersurfaces and BoseEinstein correlation functions for identical pion pairs are discussed. It is conclud...
متن کاملThree-Fluid Simulations of Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions
Probing Equation of State (EoS) of QCD matter in relativistic heavy-ion collisions is still a fascinating problem inspiring new experimental projects [1]. Hydrodynamic models have an advantage that they directly address EoS of hot and dense nuclear matter, which is of prime interest for this domain of physics. We have developed 3D 3fluid relativistic hydrodynamic model [2, 3] for simulating hea...
