چکیده
Obesity can be defi ned as a chronic disease with serious impact on an individual’s quality of life, but moreover, it is a leading risk factor for global death. Bariatric surgery has already proven its effi cacy in rendering the patient a healthier life. Nonetheless, failure of an initiated treatment is possible in medical practice. We can and should offer our patients a correct revisional patienttailored therapyconducted by an experienced surgeon in a high-volume hospital facility. In this article, current indications and strategies for secondary bariatric procedures were summarized.
