High Efficient Numerical Methods for Viscous and Nonviscous Wave Problems
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper is concerned with accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving viscous and nonviscous wave problems. The paper first introduces a new second-order PR-ADI like scheme. For an efficient simulation, the scheme is also extended to a highorder compact PRADI likemethod. Both of them have the advantages of unconditional stability, less impact of the perturbing terms on the accuracy, and being convenient to compute the boundary values of the intermediates. Besides this, the compact scheme has high-order accuracy and costs less in computational time. Numerical results are presented to show the accuracy and efficiency of the new algorithms.

Numerical methods for viscous and nonviscous wave equations
This article is concerned with accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving viscous and nonviscous wave equations. A three-level second-order implicit algorithm is considered without introducing auxiliary variables. As a perturbation of the algorithm, a locally one-dimensional (LOD) procedure which has a splitting error not larger than the truncation error is suggested to solve problems...
متن کاملAn assessment of a semi analytical AG method for solving two-dimension nonlinear viscous flow
In this investigation, attempts have been made to solve two-dimension nonlinear viscous flow between slowly expanding or contracting walls with weak permeability by utilizing a semi analytical Akbari Ganji's Method (AGM). As regard to previous papers, solving of nonlinear equations is difficult and the results are not accurate. This new approach is emerged after comparing the achieved solutions...
متن کاملکاربرد روش معادله سهموی در تحلیل مسائل انتشار امواج داخل ساختمان
With the rapid growth of indoor wireless communication systems, the need to accurately model radio wave propagation inside the building environments has increased. Many site-specific methods have been proposed for modeling indoor radio channels. Among these methods, the ray tracing algorithm and the finite-difference time domain (FDTD) method are the most popular ones. The ray tracing approach ...
متن کاملNumerical Analysis of the Sinuous Instability of a Viscous Capillary Jet Flowing Down an Immiscible Nonviscous Fluid
The sinuous instability of a viscous jet flowing down an inviscid fluid is studied. On the basis of the 3D Navier-Sokes equations for the jet the full dispersion equation of the small disturbances is derived. Numerical results are shown, illustrating both the effect of viscosity and ambient density.
متن کاملA Study of the Waves and Boundary Layers Due to a Surface Pressure on a Uniform Stream of a Slightly Viscous Liquid of Finite Depth
The 2D problem of linear waves generated by an arbitrary pressure distribution p0(x, t) on a uniform viscous stream of finite depth h is examined. The surface displacement ζ is expressed correct to O(ν) terms, for small viscosity ν, with a restriction on p0(x, t). For p0(x, t)= p0(x)e, exact forms of the steady-state propagating waves are next obtained for all x and not merely for x 0 which for...
