چکیده

congenital disorder characterized by cutaneous hemangiomas, hypertrophy of bone and soft tissue, varicose veins, and clinically significant arteriovenous malformation (AVM) (1, 2, 3). AVMs associated with KTWS are located in the extremities, visceral organs, or spinal canal (1, 3). Most AVMs in the extremities are intramuscular or cutaneous. There is a paucity of data on AVMs in the suprapatellar fat pad associated with KTWS. We report imaging findings of a case with AVM in the suprapatellar fat pad of the right knee associated with KTWS.

Intraosseous Arteriovenous Malformation of the Sphenoid Bone Presenting with Orbital Symptoms Mimicking Cavernous Sinus Dural Arteriovenous Fistula: A Case Report

Intraosseous arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in the craniofacial region is rare. When it occurs, it is predominantly located in the mandible and maxilla. We encountered a 43-year-old woman with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome affecting the right lower extremity who presented with a left orbital chemosis and proptosis mimicking the cavernous sinus dural arteriovenous fistula. Computed tomography ang...

Soft-tissue textiloma: a potential diagnostic pitfall.

Klippel–Trenaunay syndrome has 3 essential features: cutaneous hemangiomas, varicose veins and hypertophy of the involved limbs in length or girth, or both. Both bones and soft tissue are usually affected by the hypertrophy. The arteriovenous malformation effects are polysystemic. Patients with this syndrome are at risk of thromboembolic disease. Baskerville’s report shows that 7 (14%) of 49 pa...

Klippel-Trénaunay Syndrome with Intracranial Arteriovenous Malformation: A Rare Presentation

Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome (KTS) is a rare vascular congenital anomaly affecting less than 200,000 people in the United States. Vascular malformations associated with KTS tend to affect slow flow systems: venous, capillary, and lymphatic systems. The nature of the syndrome leads to a higher risk for the development of arteriovenous malformations. Our case presentation describes a patient with K...
