چکیده

A complete SAT-based model checking algorithm for contextfree processes is presented. We reduce proof search in local model checking to Boolean satisfiability. Bounded proof search can therefore be performed by SAT solvers. Moreover, the completion of proof search is reduced to Boolean unsatisfiability and hence can be checked by SAT solvers. By encoding the local model checking algorithm in [13], SAT solvers are able to verify properties in the universal fragment of alternationfree μ-calculus formula on context-free processes.

Faster FDR Counterexample Generation Using SAT-Solving

With the flourishing development of efficient SAT-solvers, bounded model checking (BMC) has proven to be an extremely powerful symbolic model checking technique. In this paper, we address the problem of applying BMC to concurrent systems involving the interaction of multiple processes running in parallel. We adapt the BMC framework to the context of CSP and FDR yielding bounded refinement check...

A Bounded Model Checking Approach for the Verification of Web Services Composition

In this paper, we propose a bounded model-checking based approach for the verification of declarative Web services composition processes using satisfiability solving (SAT). The need for the bounded model-checking approach stems from the nature of declarative processes as they are defined by only specifying the constraints that mark the boundary of the solution to the composition process. The pr...

Automated Abstraction Refinement for Model Checking Large Spaces using SAT based Conflict Analysis

We introduce a SAT based automatic abstraction refinement framework for model checking systems with several thousand state variables in the cone of influence of the specification. The abstract model is constructed by designating a large number of state variables as invisible. In contrast to previous work where invisible variables were treated as free inputs we describe a computationally more ad...

Sat-based Model Checking for Region Automata

For successful software verification, model checkers must be capable of handling a large number of program variables. Traditional, BDD-based model checking is deficient in this regard, but SAT-based model checking, i.e. bounded model checking (BMC), shows some promise. However, unlike traditional model checking, for which time systems have been thoroughly researched, BMC is less capable of mode...
