A Method for the Direct Frequency-domain Deconvolution without Division
نویسنده
چکیده
We describe a frequency-domain deconvolution that uses no division and doesn't suuer from singular kernels. A fast computational algorithm is derived which works equally well for nonsingular as for singular kernels and has a complexity which is proportional to the fast Fourier transform. Its noise behaviour is also studied statistically on real signals, showing improved performance, on average, compared to the direct frequency-domain deconvolution.

Direct Frequency - Domain Deconvolution when theSignals Have No Spectral
We describe a new method of frequency-domain deconvolution when the kernel has no spectral inverse. Discrete frequency interpolation is used to aviod zero-valued frequency samples. The algorithm does not suuer from the spectral singularities of the original kernel, its complexity is proportional to the fast Fourier transform, and a comparative noise study showed improved performance relative to...
متن کاملSelective Tone Reservation method for PAPR reduction in SFBC-OFDM systems
The high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and MIMO-OFDM systems reduces the system efficiency. In this paper, an extension of Tone Reservation (TR) method is introduced for PAPR reduction in Space Frequency Block Coded OFDM (SFBC-OFDM) systems. The proposed algorithm is based on a time domain kernel which is added to the signal of the anten...
متن کاملTotal Variation Deconvolution using Split Bregman
Deblurring is the inverse problem of restoring an image that has been blurred and possibly corrupted with noise. Deconvolution refers to the case where the blur to be removed is linear and shift-invariant so it may be expressed as a convolution of the image with a point spread function. Convolution corresponds in the Fourier domain to multiplication, and deconvolution is essentially Fourier div...
متن کاملA Noise-Robust Method with Smoothed ℓ1/ℓ2 Regularization for Sparse Moving-Source Mapping
The method described here performs blind deconvolution of the beamforming output in the frequency domain. To provide accurate blind deconvolution, sparsity priors are introduced with a smoothed `1/`2 regularization term. As the mean of the noise in the power spectrum domain depends on its variance in the time domain, the proposed method includes a variance estimation step, which allows more rob...
متن کاملAssessment of deconvolution technique for diagnosis of hydronephrosis in infants (under 6 months) [persian]
Introduction: Hydronephrosis is one of the major causes of referring infants for nuclear medicine investigation. Renal dynamic study is the most reliable investigation for such children. However direct evaluation of renogram leads to generation of parameters that have no physiological interpretation. The configuration of renogram is very much dependent upon the rate at which radiopharmace...
