This paper extends the work done in previous reviews by discussing the most recent empirical studies of pathology and services among refugees and by describing unique populations of child and adolescent refugees. Promises Broken: Refugee Children. Human Rights Watch. . This report details how the plight of refugee children has been ignored by the international community. In particular, it focuses on how children refugees are susceptible to hazardous labor, physical and sexual abuse, and the denial of education and health care. It also mentions how policies form the Convention on the Rights of the Child have not been implemented.
