چکیده

Meanwhile, there is at least one additional front in the survivability battle, this one involving “control objectives.” This is a relatively humdrum front, exciting to accountants possibly but not to super heros. However, the more fronts we can open, the more opportunities we have to push the conflict to our favor. This paper defines control objectives, explains their strengths—good practice, completeness, and auditability—and how control objectives relate to similar approaches.

A Case Study in Requirements for Survivable Systems

Increasing societal dependency on critical infrastructure systems is driving emergence of a new category of requirements engineering that addresses survivability objectives. This paper presents a case study in survivability requirements analysis. Survivability is the capability of a system to fulfill its mission, in a timely manner, in the presence of attacks, failures, or accidents. The Surviv...

Identifying an Impressive Stabilizer on Oil and Non-oil Phases of Tahini and Investigating Its Effects on the Viability of Free and Encapsulated Probiotics

Background and Objectives: Despite unique characteristics of tahini, adequate biotechnical studies have not been carried out on tahini. In recent decades, functional food production such as probiotics has increased because of positive effects on the consumer health. Studies have verified that probiotics do not include appropriate survivability in fat ambiences. Hence, the present study was carr...

A Web-Based Survivability Control Architecture

1 INTRODUCTION We have begun to investigate a new architectural model for survivability monitoring and control of complex distributed information systems, such as those that underpin critical civic and other infrastructures. The model is a synthesis of two streams of thought. The first was presented in " Information Survivability Control Systems [4]. " That work suggests an approach to dynamic ...

A Case Study in Survivable Network System Analysis

This paper presents a method for analyzing the survivability of distributed network systems and an example of its application. Survivability is the capability of a system to fulfill its mission, in a timely manner, in the presence of attacks, failures, or accidents. Survivability requires capabilities for intrusion resistance, recognition, and recovery. The Survivable Network Analysis (SNA) met...

Survivability and Makespan Driven Scheduling Algorithm for Grid Workflow Applications

With the development of Grid technologies, scientists and engineers obtain large computing capability to execute large-scale workflow applications. However the Grids also bring a troublesome problem. In the dynamic, complex and unbounded Grid systems, malicious attacks and hardware faults, which are inevitable, can have a serious effect on the execution of applications. Therefore it is necessar...
