Quality Control of Wls Bers for the Tilecal/atlas Detector

It is reported the quality control of Y11(200)MS aluminized bers with 600 ppm of UV Absorber used to equip the Module 0 barrel hadronic calorimeter for ATLAS. The optical properties and the reeectivity of the aluminization of the bers is presented. Also the ber to ber uctuations of the several parameters were studied.

Several types of WLS bres, candidates to be used in the TILECAL/ATLAS detector, were irradiated in a 60 Co source. Bicron, Kuraray and Pol.Hi.Tech bres were exposed to a total dose of 150 Krad.
