چکیده
Introduction Parallel image reconstruction using local sensitivities (PILS)[1] accelerate MR scan time by using multiple receiver coil in parallel scan time. We propose a novel imaging technique which is based on the PILS, but uses only a single set of signals. The signal obtained in the phase-scrambling Fourier Transform imaging (PSFT)[2] can be transformed into the signal described by the Fresnel transform of the objects, in which alias-less images can be obtained by optionally scaling the object images[3]. The reconstructed alias-less image has lower resolution than the original image which has aliasing artifact since aliasing is avoided by shrinking the image to fit in the given data size. In this paper, we propose PILS like reconstruction method (PSFT-PILS) which can improve the resolution of images by using the up-scaling of alias-less reconstruction and signal band extrapolation technique of PSFT signal[4]. Theory: Phase-scrambling Fourier transform (PSFT) imaging[2] is a technique whereby a quadratic field gradient is added to the pulse sequence of conventional FT imaging in synchronization with the field gradient for phase encoding. The signal obtained in PSFT is given by Eq. (1):

Partially parallel imaging with localized sensitivities (PILS).
In this study a novel partially parallel acquisition method is presented, which can be used to accelerate image acquisition using an RF coil array for spatial encoding. In this technique, Parallel Imaging with Localized Sensitivities (PILS), it is assumed that the individual coils in the array have localized sensitivity patterns, in that their sensitivity is restricted to a finite region of spa...

The signal obtained in the phase-scrambling Fourier imaging technique can be transformed to the signal described in the Fresnel transform equation of the objects. Therefore, image reconstruction can be performed not only by inverse Fou...

PURPOSE Most existing methods for accelerated parallel imaging in MRI require additional data, which are used to derive information about the sensitivity profile of each radiofrequency (RF) channel. In this work, a method is presented to avoid the acquisition of separate coil calibration data for accelerated Cartesian trajectories. METHODS Quadratic phase is imparted to the image to spread th...
متن کاملSynthetic Target combined with PILS (ST-PILS) for improving SNR in parallel imaging
Introduction: GRAPPA [1] is an effective self-calibrated algorithm for parallel imaging reconstruction. However, GRAPPA can be time-consuming when using a large number of coils because of its coil-by-coil reconstruction nature. PILS [2] (Parallel Imaging with Localized Sensitivities) is another popular reconstruction technique with fast reconstruction speed and high SNR. But it suffers from sev...

—A multiple-image encryption scheme is proposed by using discrete cosine transform and discrete multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform (DMPFRFT). Each image is performed by discrete cosine transform and filtering procedure and then multiplexed into a complex signal. After operated by a pixel scrambling, the complex signal is multiplied by random phase mask, and then encrypted into one...
