The Status of Cpt

چکیده
A short review is given of some theoretical approaches to CPT violation. A potentially realistic possibility is that small apparent breaking of CPT and Lorentz symmetry could arise at the level of the standard model from spontaneous symmetry breaking in an underlying theory. Some experimental constraints are described.

After summarizing the status concerning CP violation in 1998 I describe the exciting developments of the last two years and extrapolate to the future. I review the status of CP violating phenomena and CPT tests in the neutral Kaon system. Comparisons of present data with the expectations of the Cabibbo Kobayashi Maskawa model are presented, with particular emphasis being focused on the role of the theoretical uncertainties in this comparison. In addition, novel tests of CPT at DAFNE and Fermilab are briefly discussed.
