چکیده
Feline calicivirus (FCV) is a highly contagious pathogen of cats that can be grown in cultured cells. FCV is used as a model to study nonculturable caliciviruses, such as noroviruses. We determined the complete genome sequence of the FCV 2280 strain from the American Tissue Culture Collection.

Complete Genome Sequence of Feline Calicivirus Strain GX01-2013 Isolated from Household Cats in Guangxi, Southern China
Here, we report the complete genome of a feline calicivirus (FCV) originating from household cats in Guangxi, southern China, in September 2013. To understand its genetic characteristics, we isolated FCV strain GX01-2013 from MDCK cells and determined its complete genome sequence.

Here, we report the complete genome sequence of feline calicivirus (FCV) strain HRB-SS isolated in 2014 from a cat in Heilongjiang Province of northeastern China. The virus genome is 7,705 bases, excluding the poly(A) tail. This analysis will help to understand the genetic characteristics and evolution of FCV in China.
متن کاملN-Terminal Domain of Feline Calicivirus (FCV) Proteinase-Polymerase Contributes to the Inhibition of Host Cell Transcription
Feline Calicivirus (FCV) infection results in the inhibition of host protein synthesis, known as "shut-off". However, the precise mechanism of shut-off remains unknown. Here, we found that the FCV strain 2280 proteinase-polymerase (PP) protein can suppress luciferase reporter gene expression driven by endogenous and exogenous promoters. Furthermore, we found that the N-terminal 263 aa of PP (PP...

Feline Caliciviral infection is typically associated with mild depression, sneezing, ocular and nasal discharges, and often mouth ulceration. However, isolates vary in their pathogenicity. Some isolates reproducibly cause a more severe syndrome; some induce oral or nasal ulceration alone; some induce an interstitial pneumonia and some appear to be apathogenic[ 1-31. Infection with feline calici...
متن کاملMolecular and clinical study on prevalence of feline herpesvirus type 1 and calicivirus in correlation with feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses
Upper respiratory tract diseases (URTD) are common clinical problem in cats worldwide. Feline calicivirus (FCV) and feline herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1) are the main primary pathogens. Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) are also among the most common infectious diseases of cats which suppress the immunity. Oropharyngeal and conjunctival swabs and blood samples wer...
