Incremental Discovering Association Rules: A Concept Lattice Approach
نویسندگان
چکیده
Concept lattice is an efficient tool for data analysis. Mining association rules is a important subfield of data mining. In this paper we investigate the ability of concept lattice on associate rules and present an efficient algorithm which generate the large itemsets incrementally on the basis of Godin’s work.

Using a Reinforced Concept Lattice to Incrementally Mine Association Rules from Closed Itemsets
In the Data Mining area, discovering association rules is one of the most important task. It is well known that the number of these rules rapidly grows to be unwieldy as the frequency requirements become less strict, especially when collected data is highly correlated or dense. Since a big number of the frequent itemsets turns out to be redundant, it is sufficient to consider only the rules amo...
متن کاملIncremental Classification Rules Based on Association Rules Using Formal Concept Analysis
Concept lattice, core structure in Formal Concept Analysis has been used in various fields like software engineering and knowledge discovery. In this paper, we present the integration of Association rules and Classification rules using Concept Lattice. This gives more accurate classifiers for Classification. The algorithm used is incremental in nature. Any increase in the number of classes, attr...
متن کاملIncremental Construction of Alpha Lattices and Association Rules
In this paper we discuss Alpha Galois lattices (Alpha lattices for short) and the corresponding association rules. An alpha lattice is coarser than the related concept lattice and so contains fewer nodes, so fewer closed patterns, and a smaller basis of association rules. Coarseness depends on a a priori classification, i.e. a cover C of the powerset of the instance set I, and on a granularity ...

Godin, R. and R. Missaoui, An incremental concept formation approach for learning from databases, Theoretical Computer Science 133 (1994) 3533385. This paper describes a concept formation approach to the discovery of new concepts and implication rules from data. This machine learning approach is based on the Galois lattice theory, and starts from a binary relation between a set of objects and a...
متن کاملIncremental Development of Browsing for Domain-Specific Document Retrieval Systems
Browsing is being supported in many information retrieval systems to supplement Boolean querying. We have implemented a web-based browsing mechanism for a domain-specific document retrieval system based on the concept lattice of Formal Concept Analysis. In this paper, we have proposed and implemented an incremental development of browsing by combing Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and Ripple Down...
