چکیده
Fig. 1 – Progressive reduction of macular serous detachment after treatment with subthreshold laser on the active extra foveal leak point. Fluorescein angiography in left eye in early stage (A) and in late stage (B) illustrating fluorescein extravasation in superior/nasal focal point, the origin of the subretinal fluid which causes neuroepithelium serous detachment with macular involvement (D) observed in optic coherence tomography (OCT) (Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany), with defined limits in autofluorescence infrared scan image (Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany) (F). Three weeks after the subthreshold laser session, the serous detachment diminished significantly (E, F), achieving complete absorption at 8 weeks (G, H).

PURPOSE To review the results of low-intensity/high-density subthreshold micropulse laser (SDM) for treatment of central serous chorioretinopathy. METHOD The records of all patients treated in a retinal subspecialty practice with SDM for central serous chorioretinopathy were reviewed. RESULTS Eleven consecutive eyes of 11 patients treated between October 2011 and April 2014 were identified ...

UNLABELLED Purpose. Subthreshold diode micropulse laser (SDM) treatment is believed to be safe method of treating clinical entities involving retinal edema. We present a case of serous edematous reaction of the retina to SDM treatment. Methods. CASE REPORT Results. A patient with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) was treated with SDM Yellow multispot laser. Procedure had been pr...

PURPOSE To report the efficacy and safety of micropulse 577 nm yellow laser in the treatment of nonresolving central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) cases. PATIENTS AND METHODS The study included 15 eyes with nonresolving CSC lasting more than 3 months. All the patients were subjected to complete ophthalmic examination, in addition to contrast sensitivity measurement, fundus fluorescein angiog...
متن کاملLow-Fluence Photodynamic Therapy versus Subthreshold Micropulse Yellow Wavelength Laser in the Treatment of Chronic Central Serous Chorioretinopathy
Purpose. To compare the efficacy and safety of subthreshold micropulse yellow wavelength laser (SMYL) and low-fluence photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC). Methods. Thirty-three eyes of 30 patients with chronic CSC received either PDT (18 eyes) or SMYL (15 eyes) therapy. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), subretinal fluid (SRF) height, ...
متن کاملA Review of Subthreshold Micropulse Laser for Treatment of Macular Disorders
Micropulse laser treatment is an alternative to the conventional continuous-wave laser for the treatment of retinal or macular diseases. In contrast to the conventional laser, the therapeutic effect of the subthreshold micropulse laser is not accompanied by thermal retinal damage. This fact is of particular importance when a treatment near the fovea is required. Micropulse treatment is applied ...
