Bios Data Analysis. Part 4. Flux and Action: Process Statistics
نویسندگان
چکیده
New methods for time series analysis describe patterns of variation and thereby identify creative phenomena. Regarding variation as meaningful change rather than meaningless variability, process statistics (1) analyzes time series; (2) measures changes in statistical parameters; (3) focuses on asymmetry and causality, the properties of directed action; and (4) rejects methodological assumptions and data transformations that prevent the identification of creative processes. Asymmetry and diversification (increase in variance with duration or embeddings) characterize many natural processes, mathematical bios and noise as creative, distinguishing them from random, periodic, and chaotic series. Partial autocorrelation characterizes empirical and mathematical biotic series as causal processes, differentiating them from stochastic series.

This essay examines the effect of religious faith on the allocation of time for doing deeds in the way of God among the citizens working in free jobs in Zahedan city. The statistical population is the citizens working in free jobs in Zahedan city, and the number of samples was calculated using the Cochran formula of 500 people, the data was collected with a questionnaire. The questionnaire cons...
متن کاملHow Medicine Informs Informatics : Information is Asymmetry , Not
A concept of information as asymmetry in multiple dimensions is based on the demonstration that causal action, not hypothetical chance events, is a parsimonious explanation of novelty. The study of heartbeat variation revealed creative features in causal processes, namely greater novelty than random variation, decrease in entropy, temporal change in pattern, and progressive increase in variance...
متن کاملCausal Creation in Social Processes: Empirical Analysis and Theoretical Implications
This article presents empirical evidence for the creativity of social processes, as contrasted to both deterministic and random models of biological and economic phenomena. New methods for the analysis of empirical data indicate that population changes, financial data and other socioeconomic time series display non-periodic, apparently irregular patterns that evolve in time (temporal complexity...
