چکیده
Internal Grinding is an approach to produce desired outcome with greater surface finish in metal cutting process. Unfortunately, external machining parameters play a vital role in research areas with numerous investigations. Considering this, present work focuses on the machining parameters on internal grinding process with necessary coolant oil as has been experimentally observed in our research laboratories. The literature survey predominantly states that the frequently used engineering material in automobile sectors to be EN range of steel and here we have chosen EN8 and EN31. The experimental work was carried out using these two materials in internal grinding machine. The various machining parameters such as cutting force, cutting speed, depth of cut were monitored to analyze the characteristics of outcome such as material removal rate (MRR), surface roughness and tool life. In addition to this, coolant lubrication also constitutes as a main part in improving surface quality and MRR. Surface roughness was measured using SE-1200 surface roughness tester and cutting force was measured using kistler cutting force dynamometer. Comparatively, it could be concluded that the EN31material produces minimum surface roughness 0.628μm in presence of synthetic oil used as cutting oil and also increases the tool life 669.7x10 seconds.

Machining can be outlined as the process of taking away material from a work piece in the grade of chips. During a machining process, isolated of the energy is turned into heat energy through the detritions yielded between the tool and the work piece and the plastic deformation of the work material in the machining zone. Turning is charmed by several constituents, for example, the cutting speed...

Abrasive water jet machine (AWJM) is a mechanical base non-conventional machining process. This is process of removal of materials by impact erosion of high pressure (1500-4000 bar), high velocity of water and entrained high velocity of grit abrasives on a work piece. Experimental investigations were conducted to assess the influence of abrasive water jet machining (AWJM) process parameters on ...

Electrical discharge machining process, is one of the most widely used methods for machining, the electrically conductive parts. In this way the tool is not in contact with the workpiece and the hardness of workpiece does not affect the machining speed. In Electrical Discharge Machining process, selection of the correct machining parameters are effective in final cost and the quality of the pro...
