چکیده
− This paper presents new structures of multipliers based on the current mode gates – digital elements operating with constant, continuous power supply current. Designed multipliers are destined for use in N-radix and modulo N arithmetic units. Proposed structures are simple and regular, and are based on the modulo N adders. All proposed structures were successfully tested in the SPICE simulator.

Current Mode Circuits for Multiple-valued Logic and Residue Number System Arithmetic
This paper presents new structures of circuits: adders and D triggers based on the current mode gates – digital elements operating with constant, continuous power supply current. Current mode circuits do not perturb the analogue part of the chip integrated on the same die through the parasitic coupling across the substrate with the same strength as voltage mode circuits do. Designed circuits ar...
متن کاملHigh Speed Full Swing Current Mode BiCMOS Logical Operators
In this paper the design of a new high-speed current mode BiCMOS logic circuits isproposed. By altering the threshold detector circuit of the conventional current mode logic circuitsand applying the multiple value logic (MVL) approach the number of transistors in basic logicoperators are significantly reduced and hence a reduction of chip area and power dissipation as wellas an increase in spee...
متن کاملAutomatic Generation System for Multiple-Valued Galois-Field Parallel Multipliers
This paper presents a system for the automatic generation of Galois-field (GF) arithmetic circuits, named the GF Arithmetic Module Generator (GF-AMG). The proposed system employs a graph-based circuit description called the GF Arithmetic Circuit Graph (GF-ACG). First, we present an extension of the GF-ACG to handle GF(pm) (p ≥ 3) arithmetic circuits, which can be efficiently implemented by mult...
متن کاملVerification of Current-Mode Digital Circuits Operating In Radix N Arithmetic And Destined For Implementation In Reconfigurable Devices
Modern VLSI application specific systems contain both digital and analog parts, where the first part usually is the specialized parallel processor, while the analog part is the preprocessing and interface unit between digital part and external world. Advances of the modern VLSI technology permit to implement such mixed systems on a single die. However, the problem of influence of a digital part...
متن کاملArithmetic with Signed Analog Digits
This paper presents mathematical foundtions of the Overlap Resolution Number System (ORNS) which employs signed Continuous Valued Digits (CVD’s). ORNS is a redundant Number System employing residue arithmetic. In contrast to the implementation of arithmetic by binary or multiple-valued logic circuits, arithmetic operations in this novel number system are performed by analog digit manipulation c...
