The Solvability of Concave-Convex Quasilinear Elliptic Systems Involving $p$-Laplacian and Critical Sobolev Exponent

In this work, we study the existence of non-trivial multiple solutions for a class of quasilinear elliptic systems equipped with concave-convex nonlinearities and critical growth terms in bounded domains. By using the variational method, especially Nehari manifold and Palais-Smale condition, we prove the existence and multiplicity results of positive solutions.

The fibering map approach to a quasilinear degenerate p(x)-Laplacian equation

‎By considering a degenerate $p(x)-$Laplacian equation‎, ‎a generalized compact embedding in weighted variable‎ ‎exponent Sobolev space is presented‎. ‎Multiplicity of positive solutions are discussed by applying fibering map approach for the‎ ‎corresponding Nehari manifold‎.

Infinitely Many Radially Symmetric Solutions to a Superlinear Dirichlet Problem in a Ball

In this paper we show that a radially symmetric superlinear Dirichlet problem in a ball has infinitely many solutions. This result is obtained even in cases of rapidly growing nonlinearities, that is, when the growth of the nonlinearity surpasses the critical exponent of the Sobolev embedding theorem. Our methods rely on the energy analysis and the phase-plane angle analysis of the solutions fo...

On a p(x)-Kirchho equation via variational methods

This paper is concerned with the existence of two non-trivial weak solutions for a p(x)-Kirchho type problem by using the mountain pass theorem of Ambrosetti and Rabinowitz and Ekeland's variational principle and the theory of the variable exponent Sobolev spaces.

Stability for a GNS inequality and the Log-HLS inequality, with application to the critical mass Keller-Segel equation

Starting from the quantitative stability result of Bianchi and Egnell for the 2-Sobolev inequality, we deduce several different stability results for a Gagliardo-Nirenberg-Sobolev inequality in the plane. Then, exploiting the connection between this inequality and a fast diffusion equation, we get stability for the Log-HLS inequality. Finally, using all these estimates, we prove a quantitative ...
