چکیده

This paper presents the DTM accuracy derived from JERS-1 SAR Interferometry based on the branch cut method. The target area were selected FUJI and FUGEN mountain in the volcanic mountaions. The accuracy of the calculated DTM is that maximum error and R.M.S.E were 217m, and 27.7m respectively. The accuracy weren’t better than theoretical values, but it is regarded as the next factor. (1) satellite position and orientations (2) precision of geometric correction (3) phase unwrapping algorithm In this paper, the one of DTM accuracy derived from JERS-1 SAR Interferometry made clear.

Mine Subsidence Monitoring by JERS-1 SAR Interferometry

Differential SAR Interferometry (D-InSAR) is an effective tool in monitoring land subsidence because of its greater coverage area and better resolution of height change. A series of Japanese Earth Resources Satallite-1 (JERS-1) images from 1992 to 1998 has been used in monitoring the mine subsidence in the test site of this study, one of the important coal mining areas in China. D-InSAR procedu...

Monitoring of Deforestation in Tropical Rain Forest Areas by Using Insar - Comparison between L-band and C-band Sar -

ABSTRACT: The author compared the capability of coherence information obtained from interferometric SAR (InSAR) by C-band SAR of ERS-1 and 2 and by L-band SAR of JERS-1 for the purpose of monitoring the changes of tropical rain forest due to deforestation. The test site was a southern part of Sumatra Island with 50 by 50 kilometers coverage. The several repeat-pass interferometric data pairs by...

Sar Interferometry: Principles, Processing, and Perspectives

The principles of SAR interferometry and interferogram generation, in particular phase unwrapping and geocoding, are described. Current issues of SAR interferometry are discussed: atmospheric effects on spaceborne repeat-pass interferometry limiting the accuracy and reliability of Digital Elevation Models (DEM), the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) resulting in a globally homogeneous DEM...

Can Radar Interferometry Address Commercial Applications?

This paper addresses a question often asked by industry: can radar interferometry (or InSAR or IFSAR) deliver services on a commercial and/or operational basis? To answer this question two systems based on InSAR for digital elevation model (DEM) generation are considered. One commercial system is the GeoSAR Xand P-band radar aerial mapping system from EarthData. The X-band can deliver digital s...
