چکیده

A technique based on the analytical method of lines is presented for predicting shape changes during electrodeposition. The technique is presented for both primary and secondary current distributions. The method presented does not require iterations for nonlinear Butler-Volmer boundary conditions or changing electrode shapes. The technique is based on a semianalytical method developed earlier for predicting current distributions in electrochemical cells. This technique is attractive because it provides a symbolic solution for the Laplace equation, and hence requires less computation time to perform case studies. © 2002 The Electrochemical Society. @DOI: 10.1149/1.1505637# All rights reserved.

Influences of Bath Stirring Rate on Synetics of Nano Composite Ni-SiC-Gr Coatings on St37 via Electrodeposition Process

In this study, electrochemical deposition of Ni-SiC-Gr nano composites was studied. The Watts bath was used for electrodeposition. The SiC and graphite powders were suspended in the electrolyte and stirred. The effects of changes in bath stirring rate on the composite coating were investigated. The X-Ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and field emission scanning electron ...

SIMULATION OF NICKEL ELECTROFORMING PROCESS OF A REVOLVING PART USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

n this paper a finite element model has been proposed for evaluation of primary and secondary current density values on the cathode surface in nickel electroplating operation of a revolving part. In addition, the capability of presented electroplating simulation has been investigated in order to describe the electroplated thickness of the nickel sulfate solution. Nickel electroplating experi...

A New Method to Study Aggregation Effect of Harmonic Current Emissions in a Wind Farm Based on Type-III Wind Turbine Average Modeling

Assessment of complex harmonic current contribution of each wind turbines at connection point of a wind farm to the grid (primary emission) is presented in this paper. Moreover, contribution of grid background harmonic voltage distortion on harmonic current distortion (secondary emission) of each turbine is also evaluated. Both assessments are represented based on primary and secondary transfer...

Structure and Morphology of Electrodeposited Nickel Nanowires at an Electrode Distance of 20mm

The objective of this work is to study the effect of two key factors external magnetic field and applied current density during template-based electrodeposition of nickel nanowires using an electrode distance of 20 mm. Morphology, length, crystallite size and crystallographic characterization of the grown nickel nanowires at an electrode distance of 20mm are presented. For this electrode distan...

Investigations of Magnetic Properties Through Electrodeposition Current and Controlled Cu Content in Pulse Electrodeposited CoFeCu Nanowires

CoFeCu nanowires were deposited by pulsed electrodeposition technique into the porous alumina templates by a two-step mild anodization technique, using the single-bath method. The electrodeposition was performed in a constant electrolyte while Cu constant was controlled by electrodeposition current. The electrodeposition current was 3.5, 4.25, 5 and 6 mA. The effect of electrodeposition current...
