Modeling and Iterative Learning Control of a Circular Deformable Mirror ?

چکیده
An unconditionally stable finite difference scheme for systems whose dynamics are described by a fourth-order partial differential equation is developed with the use of a regular hexagonal grid. The scheme is motivated by the well-known Crank-Nicolson discretization that was originally developed for second-order systems and it is used to develop a discrete in time and space model of a deformable mirror as a basis for control law design. The obtained model is used for a control design via iterative learning control and supporting numerical simulations are given.

Iterative learning identification and control for dynamic systems described by NARMAX model
A new iterative learning controller is proposed for a general unknown discrete time-varying nonlinear non-affine system represented by NARMAX (Nonlinear Autoregressive Moving Average with eXogenous inputs) model. The proposed controller is composed of an iterative learning neural identifier and an iterative learning controller. Iterative learning control and iterative learning identification ar...
متن کاملMembrane deformable mirror for adaptive optics: performance limits in visual optics.
The performance of a membrane deformable mirror with 37 electrodes (OKO Technologies) is studied in order to characterize its utility as an adaptive optics element. The control procedure is based on knowledge of the membrane's response under the action of each isolate electrode, i.e., the influence functions. The analysis of the mathematical techniques to obtain the control matrix gives useful ...
متن کاملPerfect Tracking of Supercavitating Non-minimum Phase Vehicles Using a New Robust and Adaptive Parameter-optimal Iterative Learning Control
In this manuscript, a new method is proposed to provide a perfect tracking of the supercavitation system based on a new two-state model. The tracking of the pitch rate and angle of attack for fin and cavitator input is of the aim. The pitch rate of the supercavitation with respect to fin angle is found as a non-minimum phase behavior. This effect reduces the speed of command pitch rate. Control...
متن کاملMethods for the characterization of deformable membrane mirrors.
We demonstrate two methods for the characterization of deformable membrane mirrors and the training of adaptive optics systems that employ these mirrors. Neither method employs a wave-front sensor. In one case, aberrations produced by a wave-front generator are corrected by the deformable mirror by use of a rapidly converging iterative algorithm based on orthogonal deformation modes of the mirr...
