Xsll Decay in the MSSM

چکیده

The flavor changing neutral current processes KL → π0e+e−, B → Xsee and B → Xsμμ are studied within the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model. We first examine the rates for these decay modes in the MSSM with a universal soft supersymmetry breaking sector at a Grand Unification scale. We later relax the universality condition and investigate the FCNC transitions in a more general class of models with negligible flavor violation in squark mixing matrices. We find that the MSSM prediction for the kaon channel’s branching fraction differs from its Standard Model value by at most 30% over the entire allowed parameter space. On the other hand, supersymmetric contributions could potentially enhance certain B → Xsll observables by more than 100% relative to Standard Model expectations. The impact of supersymmetry upon the B meson modes is strongly correlated with the MSSM value for the Wilson coefficient of the magnetic moment operator that mediates B → Xsγ. 1/96 † Work supported in part by a DuBridge Fellowship and by the U.S. Dept. of Energy under DOE Grant no. Xsll at Belle

The electroweak penguin mediated B → Xsll decay is a good probe to study beyond the Standard Model physics at low energy. The effect of new physics could be observed as corrections to the branching fraction, di-lepton invariant mass spectrum, and to the Wilson coefficients such as C9, C10, and a phase of C7 [1-10]. Experimentally, the exclusive B → Kll decay was observed by the Belle collaborat...

Xsl+l− in the Standard Model

We investigate the leading power corrections to the decay rates and distributions in the decay B → Xsll in the standard model (SM) using heavy quark expansion (HQE) in (1/mb) and a phenomenological model implementing the Fermi motion effects of the b quark bound in the B hadron. In the HQE method, we find that including the leading power corrections the decay width Γ(B → Xsll) decreases by abou...

QCD Corrections to the Decay B → X s l + l −

We briefly discuss the status of the NNLL QCD calculations in the inclusive rare B decay B → Xsll. Two important ingredients, the two-loop matrix elements of the four quark operator O2 and the bremsstrahlung contributions, were quite recently finalised. The new contributions significantly improve the sensitivity of the inclusive decay B → Xsll decay in testing extensions of the standard model i...

0 ( 1430 ) l + l − decays in the Supersymmetric Models

In this paper, we compare the branching ratio and rate difference of electron channel to muon channel of B → K 0 (1430)l+l− and B → K∗l+l−decays, where K 0 (1430) is the p–wave scalar meson, in the supersymmetric models. MSSM with R parity is considered since considerable deviation from the standard model predictions can be obtained in B → Xsll. Taking CQ1 and CQ2 about one which is consistent ...

Probing anomalous right-handed top quark couplings in rare B decays

We explore the anomalous right-handed t̄sW and t̄bW couplings using B → Xsγ and B → Xsll decays at B factory. Rare B decays induced by the flavour-changing penguin diagrams can provide helpful laboratories to probe anomalous top quark couplings before the top quark couplings will be directly measured at LHC. We find that the anomalous t̄sW coupling can yield more than 10% enhancement of the B → Xs...
