Retail Pricing to Support Cost - Effective Distributed
نویسنده
چکیده
The retail price a household pays for the last unit of grid-supplied electricity consumed is an important driver of the decision to install a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system. This price is the cost a household avoids by consuming a kilowatt-hour (KWh) from their rooftop solar system. Consequently, if the levelized cost of a KWh from a rooftop solar system is less than this retail price, the household saves money by installing a rooftop solar system.1

Competitive Pricing in a Supply Chain Using a Game Theoretic Approach
We develop a price competition model for a new supply chain that competes in a market comprised of some rival supply chains. The new supply chain has one risk-neutral manufacturer and one risk-averse retailer in which the manufacturer is a leader and retailer is a follower. The manufacturer pays a fraction of the risk cost (caused by demand uncertainty) to the retailer. We apply this competitiv...
متن کاملCooperative Advertising and Pricing in a Supply Chain: A Bi-level Programming Approach
Nowadays, coordination between members in a supply chain has become very important and beneficial to channel members. Through cooperative advertising, manufacturers and retailers can jointly participate in promotional programs. This action not only reduces the cost of advertising, but also is important to create a link with local retailers in order to increase immediate sales at the retail leve...
متن کاملAsymmetric Wholesale Pricing: Theory and Evidence*
Asymmetric pricing is the phenomenon where prices rise more readily than they fall. We articulate, and provide empirical support for, a theory of asymmetric pricing in wholesale prices. In particular, we show how wholesale prices may be asymmetric in the small but symmetric in the large, when retailers face costs of price adjustments. Such retailers will not adjust prices for small changes in t...
متن کاملMicrogrid to enable optimal distributed energy retail and end-user demand response
In the face of unprecedented challenges in environmental sustainability and grid resilience, there is an increasingly held consensus regarding the adoption of distributed and renewable energy resources such as microgrids (MGs), and the utilization of flexible electric loads by demand response (DR) to potentially drive a necessary paradigm shift in energy production and consumption patterns. How...
