چکیده

We consider the L-state cyclic solid-on-solid lattice models under a class of open boundary conditions. The integrable boundary face weights are obtained by solving the reflection equations. Functional relations for the fused transfer matrices are presented for both periodic and open boundary conditions. The eigenspectra of the unfused transfer matrix is obtained from the functional relations using the analytic Bethe ansatz. For a special case of crossing parameter λ = π/L, the finite-size corrections to the eigen-spectra of the critical models are obtained, from which the corresponding conformal dimensions follow. The calculation of the surface free energy away from criticality yields two surface specific heat exponents, αs = 2 − L/2l and α1 = 1 − L/l, where l = 1, 2, · · · , L − 1 coprime to L. These results are in agreement with the scaling relations αs = αb + ν and α1 = αb − 1.

Exact solution of the discrete (1+1)-dimensional RSOS model with field and surface interactions

We present the solution of a linear Restricted Solid–on–Solid (RSOS) model in a field. Aside from the origins of this model in the context of describing the phase boundary in a magnet, interest also comes from more recent work on the steady state of non-equilibrium models of molecular motors. While similar to a previously solved (non-restricted) SOS model in its physical behaviour, mathematical...

Integrable vertex and loop models on the square lattice with open boundaries via reflection matrices

The procedure for obtaining integrable vertex models via reflection matrices on the square lattice with open boundaries is reviewed and explicitly carried out for a number of twoand three-state vertex models. These models include the six-vertex model, the 15-vertex A (1) 2 model and the 19-vertex models of Izergin-Korepin and ZamolodchikovFateev. In each case the eigenspectra is determined by a...

Exact Solution of the Discrete (1 + 1)-Dimensional SOS Model with Field and Surface Interactions

We present the solution of a linear solid-on-solid (SOS) model. Configurations are partially directed walks on a two-dimensional square lattice and we include a linear surface tension, a magnetic field, and surface interaction terms in the Hamiltonian. There is a wetting transition at zero field and, as expected, the behavior is similar to a continuous model solved previously. The solution is i...

Electrochemical behaviour of lead in hydrochloric acid solution in the presence of inorganic ions

The electrochemical behaviour of lead electrode in hydrochloride solution containing variousoxo-anions at different concentrations was studied by using of cyclic voltammetry (CV) method. Results obtained show that the addition of these inorganic compounds decreases the anodic andcathodic currents peaks according to the following order: H2PO4- > HPO42-> SO42-. It’s revealedalso that the cathodic ...
