On Enabling Real-Time Large-Scale Network Simulation into the GENI Environment: The PrimoGENI Approach

In recent years, many research efforts have focused on building experimentation platforms where structural changes to future Internet can be implemented and tested. GENI, instantiated by its prototype implementations, e.g. ProtoGENI, is a notable example of such systems. In this document, we present the PrimoGENI approach; which aims to augment the GENI suite of interoperable infrastructure to enable large-scale experiments involving both physical and simulated networked components.
