Linux-based experimental boundary scan environment
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents the implementation of a Linux-based experimental boundary scan environment. Its primary aim is to provide a ¯exible and completely open platform to people interested in experimenting with IEEE 1149.x and related standards and allow them to develop custom applications requiring boundary scan infrastructure control capabilities. The experimental boundary scan test platform is based on readily available hardware components and on the Linux operating system. An ISA-bus to IEEE 1149.1 test bus PC adapter, supporting various boundary scan chain con®gurations, and a ¯exible Linux device driver have been implemented so far. They form the core of the test platform, allowing the development of more complex boundary scan test applications.

Board Level Boundary Scan Testing and Test Controllers
This paper discusses some of the issues related to board level testing. The main interest is focused on the boundary scan technique combined with an on board test controller, and the problems of how complete systems with several boards should be tested in a hierarchial test environment. Test controller design issues are discussed, together with a description of which functionality a test contro...
متن کاملRecursive scan-matching SLAM
This paper presents Scan-SLAM, a new generalization of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). SLAM implementations based on extended Kalman filter (EKF) data fusion have traditionally relied on simple geometric models for defining landmarks. This limits EKF-SLAM to environments suited to such models and tends to discard much potentially useful data. The approach presented in this paper i...
متن کاملUniversity methodology for internetworking principles and design projects
An undergraduate engineering internetworking learning environment that presents both internetworking principles and laboratory experimentation is described. The learning environment uses the source code availability of the Linux operating system as a case study of the implementation issues and ramifications of internet networking infrastructures. Laboratory use of experimentation with internetw...
متن کاملCAS-BUS: A Test Access Mechanism and a Toolbox Environment for Core-Based System Chip Testing
As System on a Chip (SoC) testing faces new challenges, some new test architectures must be developed. This paper describes a Test Access Mechanism (TAM) named CASBUS that solves some of the new problems the test industry has to deal with. This TAM is scalable, flexible and dynamically reconfigurable. The CAS-BUS architecture is compatible with the IEEE P1500 standard proposal in its current st...
