Massive-Scale Experimentation of Location Based Video Streaming on Content Distribution Networks

We propose a GENI experiment to study the effectiveness of adjusting the caching policy on video streaming content distribution networks based on user behavior and location information derived from social networks. We plan to conduct a massive-scale experiment on GENI to study the feasibility of our approach using simulated, emulated and physical network entities. We also plan to conduct a long-term experiment to measure the practical aspects of our approach.
